Does ILACSD supervise the cleanup?

No. The Adopt-A-Beach program is unique because it is very independent. Groups go out to clean at times that fit their schedule. Unless you have scheduled an education presentation, there will not be an ILACSD staff member at your cleanup.


Can I get my hours verified for court ordered volunteer work?

ILACSD cannot provide service letters for court ordered volunteer work through the Adopt-A-Beach program, as staff are not on site to supervise hours.  This email address is being protected from spambots. How long is the wait for a sign?
