Signage Program

San Diego County’s Adopt-A-Beach program is the only program that recognizes adopters by placing recognition signs at select local beaches for free. Multiple groups can adopt the same beach but sign recognition is on a first come, first serve basis. Recognition signs are updated once a year.

Many signs are already reserved; however some beaches are still open for adoption. If you are interested in a sign, you may be placed on a waiting list for the following year.
